Salary:£21,144 - Pro-Rata

Contract Type: Fixed term for 1 year, reviewed annually
Leicestershire Adult Learning Service require qualified English and maths tutors in our Skills for Life curriculum, to create and deliver outstanding teaching and learning opportunities for adult learners across the county.  You will be required to deliver accredited functional skills and/or GCSE courses in your specialist area, i.e. English or maths.
LALS deliver from a number of centres across the county, including Market Harborough, Wigston, Enderby, Hinckley, Coalville, Loughborough, Thurmaston and Melton as well as some of the surrounding villages.  Successful candidates may deliver in a number of venues (within travelling distance) evening and/or daytime to be agreed.  Our courses include fast track, short courses and flexible learning alongside an established programme of 30 week delivery and you may be asked to deliver any combination of these.
We particularly welcome applications from tutors with GCSE experience.     
Salary is pro rata on a sessional basis, reviewed annually and dependent on the number of classes delivered.
