Leicestershire Adult Learning Service requires qualified ENGLISH tutors in our Skills for Life curriculum, to create and deliver outstanding teaching and learning opportunities for adult learners across the county.  Posts are sessional and ideal for those looking to add to their teaching portfolio or supplement their current role. 
Please note that an ESOL qualification is not sufficient for this post and we require a PGCE (or equivalent) or as a minimum the PTLLS/Award in Education with a commitment to study for the next level.

We are particularly keen to hear from applicants with experience of teaching GCSE English.
The successful candidates may deliver in a number of venues county wide (within travelling distance) evening and/or daytime to be agreed.    Our courses include fast track, short courses and flexible learning alongside an established programme of 30 week delivery of functional skills and GCSE.    
Salary is pro rata on a sessional basis, reviewed annually and dependent on the number of classes delivered.  LALS fully support tutors with innovative CPD opportunities.
