Leicestershire Adult Learning Service is rated as a 'Good' service by Ofsted (Feb 2018).
An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for a temporary position as Adult Learning Programme Manager due to the current post holder being away on maternity leave from the end of March 2021. You will be responsible for managing the Employability and Digital Skills curriculum and this post also includes management of the West Locality of Leicestershire for the Adult Learning Service.
The successful applicant will be an experienced manager with a track record of leading a team and maintaining quality and standards in programme provision. The Employability and Digital Skills programme runs classroom based and distance / online courses. Recently, the curriculum team has been working hard in developing the courses and different methods of delivery whilst maintaining the quality in teaching and learning provision.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree and professional qualification relevant to the post
- Recent management experience within a relevant setting
- Responsibility for staff and managing financial resources
- Experience of developing adult learning programmes
- Ability to engage with key stakeholders internally and externally, including learners, accreditation bodies etc
