Fixed Term for up to 12 Months


  • Processing Adaptations requests, including ordering work with both internal and external contractors and liaising with external agencies to ensure work is completed within timescales.
  • Obtain and evaluate estimates for works.
  • Liaise with commissioners and Housing Departments to process adaptations.
  • Keep records up to date to reflect the progress of work.
  • Prioritising workload.
  • Deal appropriately with a range of queries from commissioners, internal & external bodies and service users.
  • Recharge and recoup monies from District Councils.
  • Process contractor invoices.
  • General office duties
  • To undertake other duties within the scope of the job purpose, the title of the job and its grading.
 

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Five GCSE grades A-C / NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent or demonstrable experience identified within the section below.
  • Experience in an administrative setting
  • Computer literacy - MS Office & Databases
  • Ability to Prioritise workload and to work under pressure
  • Ability to communicate with members of the public and associated at all levels
  • Good telephone manner
  • Ability to multitask across the service (Major and Minor Adaptations)
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • An understanding of, and commitment to Equal Opportunities
  • Must be able to perform all duties and tasks with reasonable adjustments where appropriate in accordance with the provisions of the Equality Act 2010
