This position is a fixed term post until 31 August 2021 (although there is a good possibility of extension until 30 November 2022). It is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), and the UK Government has guaranteed this funding once we have left the European Union.
         
The starting salary is currently £32,878 (level 1) rising to £34,788 (level 2) on the first year anniversary subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time).

The project role:
The focus of this role is to ensure that the partners in the ERDF funded Invest in D2N2 project, comply with ERDF and Nottingham City Council regulations, for example publicity, procurement and financial regulations. Invest in D2N2 is a £5M+ project, supporting new businesses to establish trading bases in the D2N2 area.
                       
Currently the role is home based, but contractually it is based in Loxley House on Station St in Nottingham, with occasional travel for meetings or to support events across the D2N2 region.  
           
Day to day work includes liaising with partners, ensuring records are accurate, and entering records to build the quarterly claim to MHCLG.
        
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
 
  • Experience of financial and administration management of large (£2M+) multi partner funded projects, including the aggregation and submission of financial and output evidence, budget preparation, and financial forecasting
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in order to manage risk and prevent financial and reputational damage
  • The ability to develop and manage complex sets of data whilst hitting tight deadlines
  • Stakeholder and partnership management skills within the public sector or similar environment
  • A collaborative approach, building effective positive relationships with internal and external team, achieving results through others. 
   
We are particularly interested in hearing from people who have ERDF experience, or experience working in complex regulatory environments.
