An exciting opportunity has arisen for one experienced Social Worker or Approved Mental Health Professional to work in a busy but supportive Working Age Adult (18 to 64) Mental Health Team.
It is essential that you are registered with Social Work England and ideally have significant experience working with people who have mental health difficulties and or substance dependency issues. You must have experience in safeguarding vulnerable adults in accordance with the requirements set out in the Care Act (2014). You will be required to carry out complex risk assessments and high quality Mental Capacity Act (2005) assessments within the context of multi-disciplinary team working. You must be able to work on your own initiative, with management support and supervision, and prioritise your workload effectively in order to meet deadlines and statutory requirements.
